Christ the King Service Corps

Goal of Program

CKSC is a parish-centered year of service created by and for our Detroit neighborhood, instilling hope and creating a brighter future for our city and its residents. Our parish and neighborhood focus is unique among service corps, and gives you the perfect stage for a place-based year where you are not just a member of your intentional community, but of a diverse parish community as well. You become an ambassador for Detroit, as you experience the richness of the city at an unprecedented time in its history. As a smaller program, our community has unparalleled resources to give the personal touch to your year of service.
